Cookiebot (Consent Management Tool)
We use the consent management tool „Cookiebot“ from Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark. This service enables us to obtain and manage the consent of website visitors to data processing.
Cookiebot collects data generated by end users who use our website. When an End User provides consent through the Cookie Consent Tool, Cookiebot automatically logs the following data:
- The IP number of the end user in anonymized form (the last three digits are set to 0)
- Date and time of consent.
- User agent of the end user’s browser.
- The URL from which consent was sent.
- An anonymous, random and encrypted key.

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our websites. The information collected by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We use the ‚anonymizeIP‘ function (so-called IP masking): Due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.
During your visit to the website, the following data is collected, among others:
- the pages you viewed, your „click path“
- Achievement of „website goals“ (conversions, e.g. newsletter sign-ups, downloads, purchases)

- Technical information about your browser and the devices you use (e.g. language settings, screen resolution)
- Your Internet Provider
- the referrer URL (via which website/advertising medium you came to this website)
Purposes of processing
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your (pseudonymous) use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyze the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.
Receiver
The recipient of the data is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Transfer to third countries
A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out.

The data we send and link to cookies is automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.
You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by following
- do not give your consent to the setting of the cookie, or
- Download and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on here.
You can also prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, if you configure your browser to refuse all cookies, you may experience limitations of functionality on this and other websites.
Legal basis and revocation option
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by going to the cookie settings and changing your selection there.
You can find more information about the terms of use of Google Analytics and data protection at Google under https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and under https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.
7. Embedding YouTube videos
We have integrated components from YouTube on this website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them free of charge. YouTube allows the publication of all kinds of videos, which is why complete film and television programs, as well as music videos, trailers or videos made by users themselves can be accessed via the Internet portal.
YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Every time you visit one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by us and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on your IT system is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. More information about YouTube can be found at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google receive information about which specific subpage of our website you are visiting.
If the data subject is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognises which specific subpage of our website you are visiting when you call up a subpage containing a YouTube video. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to your YouTube account.
YouTube and Google will always receive information via the YouTube component that you have visited our website if you are logged in to YouTube at the same time as you access our website; this takes place regardless of whether you click on a YouTube video or not. If you do not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google in this way, you can prevent the transmission by logging out of your YouTube account before accessing our website.
These processing operations are carried out exclusively upon the granting of explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The privacy policy published by YouTube, which can be accessed at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/, provides information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.
8. Use of Google Web Fonts
Our website uses so-called web fonts for the uniform display of fonts. The Google WebFonts are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Ireland Limited is part of the Google group of companies, headquartered at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you use establishes a connection to Google’s servers. This makes Google aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our website.
These processing operations are carried out exclusively upon the granting of explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The parent company Google LLC is certified as a US company under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. This is an adequacy decision in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR, so that a transfer of personal data may also take place without further guarantees or additional measures.
Further information on Google WebFonts and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq ; https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
9. Use of Adobe Typekit
We use Adobe Typekit for the visual design of our website. Typekit is operated by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd., 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland. By using Typekit, we are granted access to a font library on Adobe servers (headquartered in the United States). In order to integrate the fonts we use, your browser establishes a connection to an Adobe server in the USA in order to dynamically download the font required for our website. Adobe receives the information that our website has been accessed from your IP address.
These processing operations are carried out exclusively upon the granting of explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The parent company Adobe Inc. is certified as a US company under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. This is an adequacy decision in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR, so that a transfer of personal data may also take place without further guarantees or additional measures.

11. Data protection information for the Facebook presence
The Company uses the technical platform and services of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. As part of our website, a hyperlink to Facebook is identified by a logo at the bottom of the website. After clicking on the logo, Facebook’s website opens in a new tab of the browser.
According to a ruling of the ECJ of 05.06.2018, the operator of a Facebook page is jointly responsible with Facebook for the processing of personal data within the meaning of Art. 26 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook collects, among other things: Your IP address and other information that is available on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this under the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights. We have no influence on the generation and presentation of the information.
The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. Facebook describes what information Facebook receives and how it is used in general terms in its data use policy. There you will also find information about how to contact Facebook and how to set up advertisements. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy.
Facebook’s full data policy can be found here: https://de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy
Facebook does not conclusively and clearly state how Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties.
When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymized (for „German“ IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about its users‘ devices (e.g. as part of the „Login notification“ function); if necessary, Facebook is thus able to assign IP addresses to individual users.
If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, there is a cookie with your Facebook ID on your device. This enables Facebook to track that you visited this page and how you used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. Based on this data, content or advertising can be tailored to you.
If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or disable the „keep me logged in“ feature, delete the cookies present on your device, and close and restart your browser. In this way, Facebook information that can be used to directly identify you will be deleted. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook ID. When you access interactive features of the page (likes, comments, shares, messages, etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. After any registration, you will again be recognizable to Facebook as a specific user.
To learn how to manage or delete information about you, visit the following Facebook Support pages: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy
Facebook has assumed primary responsibility for the processing of insights data and, among other things, for exercising the rights of data subjects pursuant to Art. 15 et seq. GDPR. Please contact Facebook directly for requests for information or other questions about your rights, such as the deletion of data, as only they have full access to your user data. If we receive requests for this directly, we will forward them to Facebook.
We also do not collect or process any data from your use of the company’s own Facebook page.
12. Duration of storage of personal data
We process and store your data for as long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of the above-mentioned purposes, in particular our contractual and legal obligations. If the data is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of these purposes and our obligations, they will be deleted on a regular basis, unless their continued processing for a limited period is necessary for the following purposes:
- Fulfilment of retention obligations under commercial and tax law: In particular, the Commercial Code and the Tax Code should be mentioned. The retention and documentation periods specified there are six to ten years.
- Preservation of evidence within the framework of the statutory statute of limitations. According to §§195 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), these limitation periods can be up to 30 years, with the regular limitation period being three years.
13. Obligation to provide data
There is no obligation to provide data by law.
In the context of a business relationship, the personal data that is necessary for the processing of your order and the associated contractual obligations or that we are legally obliged to collect must be provided. Without this data, we are not able to conclude or perform a contract.
14. Existence of automated decision-making, including profiling
Such a procedure is not used.
15. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Due to the further development of our website and offers via it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this data protection declaration.
